What SIM card can I use as an incoming student and what is included for me?

Once you arrive, you can pick up the Vodafone Golden SIM card. The ESN section at your receiving university can provide you with this SIM card. 
 

This SIM card includes:

10 GB + 5 GB

Unlimited SMS within the network

Next five months for 200 CZK per month

Call rate: 4.50 CZK per minute

SMS to other networks: 1.90 CZK

Extra credit of 50 CZK valid for 45 days

 
How should I top-up the SIM card?

If you top-up through the Vodafone website or app My Vodafone, which is processed via the ČSOB payment gateway, there should be no problem.

There should also be no issues with Geco, Sazka, etc. If you are unable to top-up your credit using a debit or credit card, you can top up your credit at any Vodafone store. The minimum top-up amount is 300 CZK, and there is no fee included.

 

Can I insert the SIM card into my phone?

The SIM card can be inserted into any phone, including standard, micro, and nano formats.
 
Is there any app which I could use?
Always use the app My Vodafone, where you can also convert your SIM card into eSIM card.

In case you have any issues, call the hotline *77 or 800 77 00 77, and select the English language after the tone. You can also use the online support on Vodafone's website.
